The event, hosted in central London last week, invited creatives from marketing agencies to look at case studies of campaigns that have incorporated digital print.
"The marketing industry, in general, has a wider knowledge of digital print now," said HP UK marketing manager for digital publishing solutions Paul Randall.
"The forum wasn't just about digital print, and it looked at the wider portfolio of digital media."
Attendees at the event saw presentations from agencies including Tequila and Mc-Cann Erickson.
Tequila presented a case study of its work for supermarket chain Sainsbury's, which targeted Nectar loyalty card holders with personalised special offers and gifts.
McCann Erickson showed its direct mail campaign for Portland Holidays, designed to drive people to its website to win a holiday.
HP has plans to extend the marketing forums across the Continent, where it will host events in European cities where there is a strong agency presence.
