Celloglas's London (Acton), Birmingham and Gloucester sites have been closed by administrator MCR, with 42 employees being made redundant.
The company went into administration on 5 January this year, before five sites were bought back by Celloglas directors in a pre-pack deal.
MCR said it is still hopeful of finding a buyer or buyers for the remaining sites in Bristol, Sevenoaks, Manchester and Dorset.
A spokesman for MCR told PrintWeek: "Unfortunately it has been necessary to close Acton, Birmingham and Gloucester as a result of limited interest being shown in these sites. The closures have resulted in a further 42 redundancies."
He said the Gloucester facility had received some interest but that this had fallen away and was therefore closed today.
