A sale of the site could not be finalised and the staff were made redundant. Bristol and Manchester remain the only two former Celloglas sites still operated by MCR.
MCR was appointed administrator on 5 January, before selling five sites back to the Celloglas directors on 8 January.
It has been in talks with several companies with a view to selling the remaining sites. However, facilities at Acton, Birmingham, were closed a fortnight ago, while a deal for Gloucester fell through and the site was closed last Friday.
PrintWeek understands that a deal for the two sites is due to complete tomorrow.
