Administrators claim strong interest in Bespoke Envelopes Direct

The administrator for envelope manufacturer Bespoke Envelopes Direct has said that it has received 20 expressions of interest for the business.

Bespoke Envelopes Direct went into administration with Tenon Recovery on 9 July 2009.

Tenon continues to trade the business and a combination of current managers and directors are interested in buying the business back.

However, following adverts in both PrintWeek and the Financial Times it seems there is a wide degree of interest.

Administrator Colin Wilson said: "Each party will have been sent a sales pack from which they will advise on the extent of their interest. This will range from the purchase of certain assets to the business as a whole. As time goes by a lot of the interest will fall away and we can narrow it down to the frontrunners in the next week to ten days."

Meanwhile G&A Print Solutions also went into administration on 9 July and a third business, Bespoke Envelopes is due to be liquidated. Wilson added that a date for Bespoke Envelopes liquidation would be decided soon.

Both companies have Bespoke Envelopes Direct directors Nigel Harper and Gary Butters as directors.
