Admin process underway at Reflections Print Finishers

Inside the Reflections Print Finishers factory in Sidcup

Bosses at Reflections Print Finishers have filed a Notice of Intention to Appoint Administrators.

The Sidcup-based business abruptly closed its doors at the end of last month, leaving employees unpaid and in limbo.

The company is owned by brothers Luke and Paul Hastings.

The duo filed the NOI on 10 March. It appears likely that insolvency practitioners from Begbies Traynor will be appointed.

At the time of writing managing director Luke Hastings had not responded to requests for comment.

Industry sources said that Reflections employees had struggled to recover their personal belongings from the factory.

More happily a number are understood to have found fresh employment with a range of other businesses in the South East.

Sources also said that the Hastings brothers are aiming to keep separate business Wren Packaging going.

Wren is based in Southend-on-Sea but was hit by the fall-out from the Reflections collapse with half of its workforce laid off.

At the time of writing the number of jobs lost across the two businesses was not clear.

Unaudited accounts for Reflections Print Finishers to 31 October 2023 show an average of 69 employees.

Wren Packaging’s unaudited accounts for the same period show 22 employees.
