Adare Limited, part of global marketing and secure communications firm Adare Group, has invested £2.5m in new machinery over the past 12 months to keep up with the latest technology and give its customers added value.
“Technology is at the core of everything we do at Adare," said Adare Limited managing director Barry Crich. "Continued technology investment is a vital component of our 'Essential Communications' strategy with which we seek to develop new solutions for our expanding our client base and differentiate our services from those of our competition.”
Six Ricoh InfoPrint high-volume continuous-feed digital presses have been installed at the firm's Huddersfield production facility over the past year.
Two InfoPrint 5000 GPs, which added new capacity, were installed in September 2013, and four InfoPrint 4100s, which replaced older Océ machines, were installed the following month.
“The new presses have increased our capacity and enabled the business to take on more volume from both new and existing clients, while continually achieving and maintaining service levels on a daily basis,” said Crich.
Ricoh's InfoPrint 4100 monochrome printers produce a high level of image and text quality on an extensive range of papers at high speeds.
The InfoPrint 5000 GP prints full-colour at up to 128m/min (1,724 A4 impressions/min) and offers optional integrated or on-demand MICR for colour or monochrome jobs.
The firm has also implemented Ricoh’s ProcessDirector software to streamline its print workflow and Productivity Tracker software, which provides live information on all aspects of the print system’s performance, to improve its efficiency.
Adare Limited employs 275 staff at its Huddersfield site and has a turnover of £50m. The Adare Group has 900 staff and a turnover of £170m.
