The security printing company has been printing at its Birmingham site since 1933 but became A1 Paper Stationery in 1991, following the merger of Carltonia with Abalink Printing and Timbuktu.
In May last year the firm was rebranded from A1 Trade Print to A1 Security Print, in a move it said would better reflect its security print expertise.
Marketing manager Michael Kelly said: “The advent of this important milestone has prompted us to reflect on what we’ve achieved over this time and to reaffirm our commitment for the future.
“We marked the actual day of the 25th anniversary last Thursday (7 January) with a big cake for all of our employees but we’ll be celebrating it throughout the year.”
He added: “Over the next 12 months we’ll be marking the occasion by looking at where we’ve been, what we do, and what makes us different.
“We’ll be looking to celebrate our success with the people who helped us reach this milestone – our employees, clients and suppliers - and the people who will keep us in business and celebrating anniversaries for a long time to come.”
A1 Security Print, which has 68 staff and a turnover of £7m, produces a range of secure products, including cheques, vouchers, ballot papers and examination documents. It also produces integrated label and card products and offers IT and fulfilment services to its clients.
The firm recently gained the Home Office Corporate Security marque for the production of high-security government documents, adding to its existing ISO 27001, ISO 9001 and Cheque & Credit Clearing Company accreditations.
The company is part of MCAARP Holdings, which also owns Integrity Print. MCAARP acquired the A1 business in 2011.
