The worktable, which is designed specifically to complement the Leicestershire-based firm’s Easymount wide-format laminators, sits at the same height as the exit plate of the Easymount.

This means that vinyl, roll-up banners and foam boards exit the system and continue straight onto the table.

Vivid marketing communications manager David Smith said: “At every show that we’ve exhibited at we’ve had a finishing table that’s been at the back of one of the Easymounts. But that was very much a custom-built table for us that normally just lives in our showroom.

“We had a lot of customers and resellers coming onto our stand asking us if it was available to buy. We saw that there was a market and a need for this so we looked into building something.”

Technical manager Gavin Ward added: “We’ve designed it to be completely modular. You can add additional table sections which cleverly lock together, allowing you to create your own bespoke size. It can also be positioned at the front or rear, making the process easy if you work alone.”

The table, which is available to order with immediate effect, has a recommended retail price of £595.

Vivid said the first 10 buyers of an Easymount laminator at this week’s Sign & Digital UK show will automatically receive an Easymount Flow table for free.

Smith confirmed that the product will also be on display on Vivid’s stand at Fespa, which takes place from 18-22 May in Cologne.
