The B3 four-colour press will be delivered to the Broadway-based company in March, and will be housed in a new 280sqm warehouse adjacent to its current site.
Commercial director Tom Stowe said: "We bought the new press to keep up with demand for our products. We needed to increase our litho capacity as we had been turning away work, hence the investment in the new press.
"We've also gone into large format, which is a new market for us and is going very well. We're fully-booked."
The £1.5m investment at the 20 staff-company also included a five-colour Heidelberg and a fully automated Screen CtP system, along with a TH 56 Stahlfolder.
The SM 52 is a scalable press that can be supplied with different configurations, speeds and with standard or anilox inking.
Vale Press has specified a basic machine running at 13,000sph but still featuring the automation and press controls needed for very fast makeready and high output.
It joins an all Heidelberg house, which includes an existing five-colour and two two-colour presses.
Stowe said: "Our aim is to continue to grow over the next few years. Our final quarter of 2010 was up 65% to the same tem a year earlier."
