Robin Presky, client director at award-winning marketing agency Quant Presky Maves, will talk about how his firm helped Ikea to realise the true value of its customer data and implement a fully integrated marketing campaign.
The project for its Ikea Family scheme centred around a personalised direct mail campaign that helped generate a 150% return on investment for the retail giant.
Presky will use the Ikea example to explain how businesses can get clients to think about, and act upon, some of the opportunities generated by digital print.
Claire Gibbon, head of graphic design and production at fashion retailer Boden, will discuss Boden's first foray into digital print, where the company ran a dual offset and digital campaign to measure the effectiveness of personalised print
She will talk about the trials and tribulations of the process and, most importantly, share some of the trade secrets regarding what clients look for from a print supplier.
Jenny Guildford is journal production controller at leading science, medical, technical and academic publisher Wiley-Blackwell. She will offer an insight into the decision-making process that helps publishers decide which journals are suitable for digital printing and which aren't.
Guildford will also discuss the key challenges that Wiley-Blackwell faces in terms of providing high-quality, cost-effective digitally printed products and how printers can help publishers and generate new business as a result.
The free event, supported by HP, is targeted at brand owners and printers either considering a move into digital, or firms keen to discover new ways to grow their existing digital business.
