The Dublin-based company said the machine has already won it new business and is currently running the press on two shifts at full capacity in the run-up to Christmas.
According to managing director Colin Culliton, the FB7500 has allowed the company to increase throughput without comprising on quality, even when printing on substrates such as corrugated board.
"Jobs which previously took us two days to complete using traditional methods of production can now be printed and delivered all on the same day," he said.
The flatbed HP Scitex FB7500 can print at speeds up to 500sqm an hour and on substrates up to 3,200mm x 1,650mm and on thicknesses up to 25mm.
The company's new machine complements an existing setup that includes screen equipment, Heidelberg litho presses and a digital portfolio that comprises a Xerox iGen 3, a 3.2m Nur Tempo flatbed and dual HP roll-to-roll machines.
Established in 1990, the business specialises in point-of-sale (POS) and point-of-purchase (POP) displays, vehicle wraps, exhibition graphics and outdoor signage.
Culliton said the machine had already won the company new business so soon after installation.
"Our HP Scitex FB7500 Press has had many advantages for us, not least of all it has enabled us to provide a high degree of sophistication and add value to the applications that we offer," he added.
