Stork unveils Sphene fabric press

Stork Prints (A1/B31) has brought the "future of digital textile printing" to Fespa with the launch of its new printer, the Sphene.

The new machine, which can output at up to 555sqm/hr, complements the company’s DSI digital label printer and its range of digital inks.

The Sphene can print on a range of fabrics up to 1.85m wide and features Kyocera printheads. The printer also features colour touchscreen operation and a complete design package.

Stork is running the machine using its new Nebula reactive ink set, which also runs on a range of other printers.

The firm has also used Fespa to showcase its new digital label printer, the DI. The UV inkjet machine can print at speeds up to 700sqm/hr and is suitable for label production for markets such as food, wines and spirits and household products.
