Fespa Digital is the launchpad for its Nebula Sublimation range, which has been specially formulated for use with Kyocera printheads. SPGPrints described the new Nebula inks as offering “bright sparkling colours” alongside the deep black.
SPGPrints said that dye-sublimation printing was increasingly being embraced by fashion brands due to the combination of higher quality polyester fabrics and the latest digital printing technology.
In addition, the firm said sublimation had environmental benefits because there was no need for additional post-processing steps, such as steaming and washing.
The new sublimation inks join its existing Nebula product series, which includes Direct Disperse and Reactive HD inks.
SPGPrints develops and manufactures the ink at its recently expanded site in Boxmeer, the Netherlands. It is exhibiting in Hall 5, stand 41 at the show.
