Leading agency creative consultant Tony Smith, Ben Moss, commercial director at McKenzie Clark and Angel Llewellyn, principal of print buying consultancy Angel Productions will all talk about the opportunities generated by wide-format digital print and offer a valuable insight into what buyers want and how printers can capitalise on these needs.
In a career spanning 20 years, Smith has worked for high-profile agencies such as Publicis London, M&C Saatchi, BMB and Addiction Worldwide, handling projects for clients such as clients such as Renault Cars, Cadbury, McVities and P&G. He will talk about what a client is looking for and how printers can adopt a more collaborative relationship with big brands and agencies.
Moss, who recently joined McKenzie Clark as commercial director having made his name as director at Service Graphics, will focus on the art of selling wide-format print as well as looking at the massive opportunities generated by the Olympic Games and what he believes will be the other key wide-format market growth areas over the next few years.
Llewellyn will draw on her 15 years of point-of-sale buying experience of working in both client and agency sectors for businesses such as Sony Pictures, Nokia, 20th Century Fox, MGM, Universal Studios, Darley and Tate Modern to offer an invaluable insight into what buyers want from print suppliers and how digital can play an integral role.
The free event, supported by HP, will take place in Hammersmith, West London from 9am to midday on Monday 26 April at the PrintWeek offices and will include a question and answer session chaired by PrintWeek executive editor Barney Cox.
