Sihl launched photo paper with authentic look

Sihl, the paper and film specialist, has launched a new photo paper that it says will give printers the ability to produce classic, nostalgic looking photo prints.

Baryt Photo Paper white 320, unveiled at Fespa Digital, is made with barium sulphate – the same substance as is used in professional photographic paper. These have an attractive appearance but also give photographs long-term archival stability.

The paper has a microporous inkjet coating and is compatible with dye and pigment-based inks used in printers made by Canon, Epson and HP.
