The German company said the grades have a special ink absorption layer, which means that even high amounts of ink dry rapidly.
Prints are water and smear resistant after drying, and can be used for large-format printing. They are printable with all common dye and pigmented water-based inkjet inks including Epson's UltraChrome inks.
Mitsubishi HiTec Paper, which is part of the Mitsubishi Group, has sites in Bielefeld and Flensburg in Germany and is a subsidiary of Mitsubishi Paper Mills of Japan.
