Senefelder Misset invests in Manroland Lithoman press

One of the biggest printers in Holland has taken a "quantum leap" in printing after signing up for a Manroland 72-page Lithoman press at Drupa.

Until now, Senefelder Misset has used 16-page machines, but the Lithoman press will add high-quality magazines and catalogues to its capability.

For Senefelder Misset this investment is a quantum leap in printing, said the company, based in Doetinchem.

It already has five Manroland web presses, two Polyman and three Rotoman lines. The Lithoman is due for delivery in February 2009.

General manager Jaap van de Vosse, said: "Our experience with Manroland has been outstanding. The press concept fits our job structure perfectly."

Alwin Stadler, regional sales manager for web presses at Manroland, said the two companies had worked together for many years.

"With our commitment and close proximity we are a powerful and reliable partner for Senefelder Misset at all times."

The 72-page Lithoman debuted around five years ago and tackled four-colour work at 50,000 cylinder rph.

The 350-staff Dutch firm was founded in 1873 and has been a member of the Roto Smeets de Boer Group for 10 years.
