The firm will distribute 500 vouchers at the show entitling recipients to a month's full use of Flexi. Fespa visitors can collect a voucher from SAi’s stand (B2-120), which will include a unique code to access the software.
The company has recently launched a new subscriptions initiative for its design, RIP, vinyl cut and print-to-cut signmaking software. It will allow a wider range of sign and large format users more affordable access to the package.
Product specialist Jurgen Verhulst said: “Flexi is now available on a monthly basis through subscriptions. It’s £39.95 a month for an annual commitment or £49.95 per month for the full software on a month-to-month plan. It’s a big advantage for the customer as it will save them money.”
The software, which can simultaneously drive up to five printers and cutters, is available via cloud-based downloads, ensuring customers can always access the latest updates. The portal that links locally-installed software to the cloud also enables file storage, image sourcing and other web-based services.
Fespa will also serve as the EMEA introduction of the new SAi FlexiPRINT HP Basic Edition software that will be bundled with HP’s new Latex 310 and 330 printers.
This simplified version of Flexi will offer user-friendly functionality to companies new to the large format market and existing small-to-medium sized sign businesses.
“Shipping a special version of our software with every new 310 and 330 will be very convenient for our customers. It also brings recognition to the company, it’s brought in a very different type of customer,” said Verhulst.
