Ricoh to show commitment to industry at Print 09

Ricoh is setting out to "demonstrate its deep commitment to production printing" at this week's Print show where it will demonstrate newly launched models from its Ricoh Pro range.

The digital manufacturer will be showcasing the latest Ricoh 907EX/Pro, 1107EX and Pro 1357EX Digital Imaging Systems.

The three systems feature enhancements to the current Ricoh Pro 906EX/Pro 1106EX and Pro 1356EX series, which launched in May 2008, including advanced performance and improved finishing features.

According to Ricoh, the Pro 907EX/Pro 1107EX/Pro 1357EX systems are designed for simple operation. Users can preview and approve thumbnails of scanned documents before final output or distribution via Scan-to-Email or Scan-to-Folder.

The company will also use the show to launch the Fiery QX100  for the Ricoh Pro C900/900s digital colour printers, which it said would allow users "to compete more effectively in extreme printing environments".

Carl Joachim, vice president of marketing for Print Production Business Groups, Ricoh Americas Corporation, said: "There is a big focus on products at this year’s show. We’ll be demonstrating new front-end products for our Ricoh Pro C900 (which we launched at last year’s Graph Expo) including the Fiery QX100, Creo and the Katana series.

"We will also highlight our success in working with our partners on multiple solutions that deliver meaningful results for our customers. All of our partnerships, such as the ones we’ve created with Kodak and Creo, are all focused on addressing the goals, needs and problems facing our production customers."
