Printed.com appoints three agencies in bid to raise profile

Printed.com, the online offering from Tangent which was relaunched in November, has appointed direct marketing agency Proctor & Stevenson to develop a campaign to target prospective clients.

The campaign will include direct mail and will be supported by email and a newly-developed animated video.

Tangent rebranded its web shop, which was formerly called the Digital Print Partnership, in November, and announced its intention to grow the site into the "biggest B2B website in the UK" for ordering print.

The Digital Print Partnership started life as a wholesale trade operation before being developed into a site increasingly used by designers and SMES.

Printed.com has also appointed SEO agency Blowfish to develop its SEO rankings across all search sites and PR agency Threepipe to provide the company with a dedicated press office.

Printed.com founder Nicholas Green said: "2011 was an incredible year for printed.com and 2012 will see us build on those foundations. Our work with these three dynamic agencies will help us to achieve this goal, and the team looks forward to seeing the exciting developments we have planned for these three key components of business."
