Wilson, who is better known for his technical titles such as the Print Production Handbook, has put his hand to the nature title, Wild in the City, which features images of London's Richmond Park along with other nature walks.

He said: "Normally, I am helping others with their printing requirements, but with business a little slower this year I was able to combine my printing acumen and love of photography to produce this beautifully printed book."

The 132pp title was printed on by Pensord Press on 170gsm gloss stock supplied by Denmaur Independent Papers and finished at Folio Bristol. Colour management advice was provided by Paul Sherfield from the Missing Horse Consultancy.

Wilson added: "This experience has been one of the best things I have ever done and I only wish I had started years ago. I have always had a keen interest in nature and photography and this has been a wonderful opportunity to combine the two.

"It was quite nerve-wracking having my own work produced, but the final quality of the print achieved by Pensord Press has made it all worthwhile."
