The Berkhamstead-based company was recognised for the production of a 368pp book entitled God’s Cook Book: Tracing the Culinary Traditions of the Levant, which it printed on its HP Indigo 5000 press.
According to judges on the panel, the book "was the most exquisitely produced digitally printed book" and one that offered litho quality for a digitally printed title.
Dave Davies, managing director at Connekt Colour, said: "We believe that the British Book Design and Production Award is fabulous and represents industry recognition for this and the quality of our offering.
"This success is largely attributable to our employees and company ethos, but also because of our choice of technology – specifically the HP Indigo 5000 press."
