The Nottinghamshire-based business has replaced an existing B3 Heidelberg machine with the press, which was bought from and installed by used machinery supplier DPM.
The addition of the B2 press has already enabled the Blidworth business to expand into the A4 production of jobs such as business folders as well as newsletters and other promotional collateral.
Adrian Tolley, production director of the Print Group, said he had already seen "some stunning results" from the company's latest press.
He said: "The print quality is exceptional, and the range of work that we can now produce really is opening up new doors for the business.
"The success of a service-focused printer depends on its speed and ?exibility. This is where a medium-size press like the Speedmaster 74 can provide for cost and efficiency benefits."
The group's SM74 press complements an HP digital operation that includes an Indigo 7000 and an Indigo 7500 as well as a comprehensive finishing department.
"It is quick to set-up and offers the flexibility to print on a broad range of substrates, from ultra-light papers through to board and even plastics," added Tolley.
