Simon Buckle, director of the York-based company, said it gives the business the range of folds it needs to meet the varied demands of its customer base, which includes well-known UK businesses, from railway companies to high street stores.
He said: "It is a far faster than the GUK folder we had before, and it means that we are more confident with it and can take on bigger jobs.
"Turnaround times are ridiculous at the moment and you have to have the kit to do the job and meet customer demands."
He said the TH56 is a lot simpler to set up and the graphic user interface is very similar to the CP 2000 press screen, which opens up opportunities for production flexibility.
Peter Turpin Associates was established in 1980 and handles a range of SRA2 and B3 work. The eight staff company has a turnover of £700,000.
