The new company, which is the recently-launched sister business to Print 2 Hand Services (P2H Services), has previously installed a Xerox Nuvera 120 EA and data processing and document creation software from GMC Software Technology.
Its new machines, supplied by First Copy, make it the first UK company to couple the Xerox 495 with a Spedo inline cutter and stacker.
This configuration enables P2H Direct Mail to run reel-to-sheet production as well as offer fan-fold printed products and cut sheets so that they can go straight to finishing.
The Moulton Par-based business has also expanded its direct mail offering with the addition of a Videojet 4320 inkjet addressing and imaging system.
The two-head bulk-feed ink system can print at resolutions up to 600dpi on items such as postcards and envelopes at speeds reaching 30,000 units an hour.
According to Jamie Adams, business development director at the company, the combination of the Videojet with its Xerox digital firepower enables the company to offer a complete service in-house.
He said: "We are in this for the long-term, not to make a quick buck. It is important to bring direct mail business back to the Northampton area and that's what we are trying to do.
"The market is responding well to what we are offering and we aim to grow our client base further in the new year."
