Working with new types of barcodes is at the top of our list, particularly for returns in e-commerce.

Linking technology with print - the two markets should drive each other.
What do you think will represent the single biggest threat for printers in 2016 and why?
Technology and not understanding where you can link in.
What’s the one thing that the industry should do more of, or do better, in 2016?
Print is good, not bad, for the environment.
What was your highlight of 2015?
My new grandson Wilfred James.
What are your hopes for 2016?
To drive the business forward into new markets.

What was the most important thing that you learnt in 2015?
To take a gamble and be brave – it might pay off.
What if anything will you do differently in 2016?
Make decisions faster and implement change.
What’s your favourite Christmas cracker joke?
A man walks into a grocer’s store and asks for a bottle of sauce.
“HP?” asks the grocer.
“No, I’ll pay cash.”
(this was my dad’s and I still smile at it).
Are you making any New Year's resolutions? If so, what?
To continue my fitness drive and to spend more time painting (artist, not the house).
