What’s at the top of your Christmas wish list this year?
A fourth flatbed printer and integration of MIS.
What do you think will represent the single biggest opportunity for printers in 2015 and why?
Embracing and exploiting our own websites to generate fresh sales.
What do you think will represent the single biggest threat for printers in 2015 and why?
The only threat I can see is if printers do not keep a vice-like grip on debtors. Cashflow is the critical life-blood of any business.
What’s the one thing that the industry should do more of, or do better, in 2015?
Get publicity off of our friends at PrintWeek!
What was your biggest disappointment in 2014?
Not reaching £3m in sales.
What was your highlight of 2014?
The purchase of my own building for future growth and stability.
What are your hopes for 2015?
To hire an internal designer to create glass offices to cope with our expansion and job creation for some emerging talent.
What was the most important thing that you learnt in 2014?
How important proper MIS is to a business for complete workflow and the amount of time that is created to focus on client retention, along with servicing the 100 average new clients we are attracting monthly.
What if anything will you do differently in 2015?
I will lead from the front to ensure we are even more successful.
Are you making any new year's resolutions? If so, what?
To create another print-based company that will rival Wallace Print by the end of 2015.
Who will win the Rugby World Cup in 2015?
England of course!
