The range is available in two print widths, 1,372mm and 1,625mm, and works with two types of ink. Seiko’s new IX ink is claimed to be free of hazardous air pollutants (HAPs), low-odour and eco-friendly, while the GX ink is designed for outdoor use.
The W series can be configured with four or six colours and can print at speeds of up to 17.8sqm/hr with a maximum resolution of 900dpi. It uses ‘Smart-Pass 3’ technology to prevent streaking.
