"Our machine is unique for highspeed inkjet in that it's cutsheet," said chief executive Dominique Martin. "Continuous-feed is fine for high volumes, but we've had plenty of requests for a mid-volume colour cutsheet."
Martin claimed that the running costs of the machine were half those of comparable toner-based machines, at around €25 (£21) per 1,000 A4 pages including ink.
The IPN75 uses Kyocera printheads and aqueous ink, although a UV-cured option is available. The native resolution is 600dpi greyscale. It can handle stocks from 75-300gsm including envelopes, and is suitable for volumes from 500,000 to 3m pages per month, which the firm said could replace three toner-based machines.
Rather than selling the machine outright Neryos will charge customers a monthly fee for the machine, including service and support, with the only additional charge being for the ink used.
