As reported exclusively in PrintWeek (1 May), the finishing kit manufacturer will be unveiling its latest saddlestitcher, an upgrade of its BravoPlus machine.
According to Muller Martini, the Primera can be tailored to customer requirements.
The company also announced that construction of its Drupa stand had begun on schedule and, alongside from the Primera, a raft of other equipment will be on show.
This is expected to include the Presto saddlestitcher, a small-run specialist machine, and the Supra saddlestitcher with a newly developed trimmer.
A Ventura book sewing machine and Diamant book line with a new drive concept, and the newspaper sector specialist Proliner, will also be showcased.
The stand will take approximately 1,200 working hours to complete before the event – which begins on 29 May in Düsseldorf.
