The 3m- and 5m-wide printers, which can print at 600dpi, can output at speeds of 278m2 and 353m2 an hour respectively.
Both models feature 32 piezo inkjet heads and parallel drop size (PDS) printing. According to Matan, PDS enables the printing of both 20 and 40 picolitre drops in the same pass, which can improve print quality without compromising speed.
Matan Digital Printers launches Barak iQ wide-format line
Israeli superwide-format manufacturer Matan Digital Printers (A2/A34) has said customers can "widen their markets and applications" following the launch of its newest printer, the Barak iQ.
