The Chertsey, Surrey-based business, which specialises in graphics and exhibitions, installed the machine three weeks ago to "fill a gap" for high-quality short-run litho.
Andrew Edwards, managing director at LightBrigade, said the 34DI would cater for runs of between 500 and 20,000 while also allowing the company to produce shorter runs of around 200.
"We have the capabilities to produce long-run litho jobs on our Heidleberg Speedmasters and short runs on our digital kit. This plugs that gap for high-quality litho in runs in-between," he said.
LightBrigade's latest investment complements the expansion of its growing wide-format display business.
In September, the company installed an Anapurna M2050 UV-curable printer, which features a white ink facility that enables it to print on both rigid and non-rigid substrates.
"We are happy where we are going. We can cater for a growing number of services while keeping work in-house in the process," said Edwards.
