The digital machines use Memjet inkjet print head technology, which the company said enables them to maintain high levels of productivity at low costs.
A spokesman for the company Jerry Erich said: "The first sale was to Lincolnshire-based Sticky Labels, but we have also sold machines to companies as far afield as Finland and India during the show.
"The interest in inkjet has been huge, which goes to show that people now understand the benefits it can bring."
The X1 and X2 are manufactured by Sydney, Australia-based Rapid Digital. They are being demonstrated live on stand 9/F320 and can print at 1,600dpi at speeds of 18m per minute. They are aimed at commercial printers, inplants and high-street copy shops.
Erich added: "There has been a lot of interest from commercial printers looking for machines for short runs, freeing up their larger presses for longer-run work."
The X1 costs £15,500 and the X2 £22,500. Impression is the European master dealer for the Rapid Digital, which manufactures the X1 and X2, and is currently looking to expand its distributor base across the continent.
