Darlington-based Sense Creative managing director Tim Thompson was on the firm's stand (18/E860) on Wednesday to finalise the purchase of the Champion II perforator/scorer. It will be transported straight to Darlington after the event.
The company bought a Ryobi 525GE press earlier on in the show and will use the Champion II to produces postcards and greetings cards.
Rollem has used the show to launch its new Deep Pile Feeder with rear separation, which feeds machines such as the company's JetStream.
Rollem managing director Stuart Murphy said: "Printers are used to rear separation, that's what presses use. When we launched the machine, we used front loading because it is simpler and it was just a case of getting the machine out there. But our bigger customers want rear feeding because it is more reliable.
"In the real world, if you are going through 20 pallets the sheets are going to be all over the place, you are going to need the best separator available."
Also on show at Ipex are a pair of JetStreams, one of which is dedicated to finishing business cards, incorporating the Rollem's JetSlit cutting technology.
