“We enjoyed the show last time and thought it was well attended by industry decision-makers. We had some good leads and we were impressed overall. And the venue is so easy to get to,” said joint managing director Chris Schofield.
The business can retrofit LE-UV, LED-UV or conventional UV drying technology onto installed or secondhand sheetfed litho equipment. It can also fit systems that can switch between the different UV options.
“We will be primarily pushing our LED systems at the show this year as we specifically want to try to increase LED-UV interest and sales,” said Schofield.
“The UV market is well-established in the UK for packaging and labels but more and more commercial printers are looking at it now and they’re the type of people we’re aiming to meet at PrintWeekLive!.”
The firm will show models of its various LED offerings on its stand, as well as products from its subsidiary Integration Technology (ITL), but will primarily be on hand to offer information to visitors, as well as consultancy on the trends in UV of all types.
Eight staff work at IST (UK), with parent company IST Metz Group employing more than 450 people globally.
The second outing of PrintWeekLive! takes place on 7/8 March 2018 in the Ericsson exhibition hall at the Wasps Arena, Coventry.
