This is the first Ipex that Druckfarben will be exhibiting with parent company Shackell Edwards. Last April, Druckfarben bought the UK-based ink manufacturer and has invested heavily in the brand. Alongside new products from Shackell Edwards, there will be launches from Toyo, CIBA Heatset and Fujikura brands. Among those products is the Toyo Hyplus 100, a VOC-free, high-gloss and soya-based ink.

New at Ipex will be Ice Arets’ high-definition process ink along with its ISO Preme High Gloss – an environmentally friendly ink with minimal dot gain. The company will be presenting its range of UV and conventional offset products as well as a complete range of press chemicals.
Mirage Inks

The UK-based independent ink manufacturer will be showcasing its Quartz Artemis UV-cured ink, which has recently been granted acceptance for shrink sleeve and other flexible packaging. Mirage will also exhibit its range of solvent- and water-based inks alongside its cationic and free radical UV products for the flexo market.

Ultrachem is the UK and Ireland distributor for Sun Chemical’s range of commercial sheetfed inks and consumables products. The firm also makes UV inks, water-based coatings and UV lacquers, which will be on show.
Van Son Printing Inks

One of the highlights on the Van Son stand will be the new set of Quickson Perfect process colour inks. Quickson Perfect is a duct-fresh sheetfed offset ink formulated for high speed perfecting presses. Van Son says that the ink assists press stability. The company also supplies the Aqua Base Plus Series, a range of water-based pigmented flexographic inks, and Aqua Base Plus APD for water-based gravure printing.
