TechNova, the fourth largest plate manufacturer in the world, has announced an alliance with Toyo Inks for high-quality inks and is due to launch its range of violet CTP plates at this year's show.
A TechNova spokesman said: "The company will offer an array of products and technologies.
"One of the most important will be InstaJet. It is an inkjet, process-free, computer-to-plate-to-press system. And as the name suggests, it takes no time for drying."
He added that the firm had been busy commuting between Mumbai and Düsseldorf, in order to "perfect the Indian look" at their stall in Hall 8a, number B47.
India currently produces 18.5m sqm of plates in its domestic factories, of which 20 to 25% are exported, and TechNova is the market-leading plate supplier in India and the surrounding region.
Proteck, a leading manufacturer of printing and packaging machinery, CNC machine tools and contract manufacturing services, is also hoping to attract international customers at the show.
It plans to showcase a high-speed coater for spot- and full-coating of paper and board stock, along with a servo-controlled automatic screen-printing machine.
As part of its presence at Drupa, the firm has organised an 'India Day' at the Mitsubishi stall, for which it has been a dealer since 1998, on 4 June.
In addition, the company has organised a roadshow in nine Indian cities during the second week of May. Proteck said this will allow Indian customers to interact with senior management from Mitsubishi, Screen and Horizon.
