To reduce graininess in the images and improve the reproduction of flesh tones, the new Uvijet Ultratone inks add light cyan and light magenta to the CMYK set.

While the S20 has been available in a six-colour Ultratone machine since its launch last year, the only available additional colours were orange and violet for extended gamut work.

Meanwhile, Inca has also extended its European technical support staff with additional engineers based in Germany, France and the UK. It plans to deploy further staff across Europe in the next few months.

"A high level of customer support is a key priority to ensure every printer is operating efficiently," said Inca chief executive Linda Bell. "Direct manufacturer level support in key markets is important."
