Exstream 8.0 offers a number of improvements over previous iterations of the software including the addition of HP Exstream delivery manager.
Clients now automatically receive a secondary communication via print, SMS or e-mail if the initial attempt fails. The delivery manager also logs all delivery activity during this time.
The software has also added the use of electronic signatures, which it claimed would increase security and improve response times for critical communications.
Companies can now opt to deliver documentation through e-mail or over the web, which can then be signed electronically eliminating the need to print and mail back the document.
In addition Exstream 8.0 adds support for multilanguage requirements.with documents that use double-byte character sets (DBCS).
According to HP, users can switch between language layers in interactive documents while language translations are aided by special user-interface views.
According to Tony Beynsberger, UK Sales Manager for HP Exstream, the latest version of the software caters for the burgeoning popularity of smartphones when delivering personalised communications.
"With a complete and intuitive communication solution like HP Exstream, enterprises can use a single platform to engage customers in meaningful ways and make every interaction more profitable," he added.
