The initiative enables customers to accrue points on products they buy through the online portal, which has been live for the past 12 months.
Consumable sales account for £18m annual revenue for Heidelberg UK, a figure that is growing on a regular basis, according to head of consumables Stephen Kyle.
He said: "Every customer who has signed up to the rewards programme can build up points as they place each order. Just like other loyalty schemes, customers can then redeem their points on selected Heidelberg products.
"We have received very favourable comments from existing online users and interest from those who currently ring through their orders."
The manufacturer's Saphira range of consumables includes plates, films inks, proofing papers, coatings and blankets.
Thomson Print & Packaging commercial director Veronica Thomson said they "love" the online service provided by the press manufacturer.
"That facility may encourage us to buy even more from Heidelberg in future," she added.
