The site launched to end-users earlier this month and features over 2,000 ranges of consumables, complete with images for ease of selection.
It was built to enable customers to purchase stock 24/7. With the online shop synced to Duplo’s automated stock and ordering systems, stock is replenished automatically, leading to a faster turnaround time for orders, the manufacturer said.
The site's search function can also pick out products under various naming conventions, in case a part number is not always readily available.
Duplo UK telesales and e-comms manager Leyla Lewis said: “Duplo always strives to deliver the best possible customer experience and we’ve seen how the UK has taken to online ordering, both through retail and B2B so we thought having a dedicated online shop would be an exact match for our customer’s needs.
“For outfits such as small imprints and print shops this will be invaluable, especially for those who have a single operator who performs both production and admin roles. Being 24/7 means that orders can be taken and logged at any time of day for fast response during our business hours.”
Existing customers for consumables and supplies have already been contacted to register for the site while new customers can register online now.
