The Hemel Hempstead-based high-tech developer has set out its stall for the Birmingham NEC show, where it will unveil new products and applications.
FFEI managing director Andy Cook said that the company would also use the show to "attract new development partners" as it did at Drupa 2008, which led to the development of its latest inkjet application.
The company's Ipex line-up includes new software packages RealPro 3D-Packager, RealPro Digital Workflow and its latest inkjet application for decorative edge-band printing for tables and other pieces of furniture.
RealPro 3D-Packager integrates with existing packaging workflows to create 3D interactive prototypes directly from dieline data and features fast tracking of the approval and reduced media usage and costs.
RealPro Digital Workflow is an APPE-based crossmedia workflow and imposition tool that builds on FFEI's experience as an OEM workflow developer. It comes packaged with FFEI's RealVue3D.
FFEI's decorative edge-band printing system uses the Xaar 1001 inkjet printhead to print a double white ink plus CMYK.
In addition to its new products, FFEI and its partners TechNova and Beijing Founder Electronics will be using the show to demonstrate the company's portfolio of CTP devices for commercial printers.
