Organised by BVDM, VWP and VD&M, its German, Swiss and Austrian Associations, the 24 October event will focus on wide format print standardisation and the implementation of sustainable policies.
Featuring a range of case studies and industry speakers, the conference will also run the rule over a new CO2 calculator that assesses a company's environmental footprint.
According to Nigel Steffens, chief executive of Fespa, the event will be "an exciting opportunity" to combine the organisation's global expertise with local knowledge.
"The environment and green issues have always been a part of Fespa events, however printers now realise that this issue has risen higher on the business agenda and this event will help printers in the region to future-proof their business," he added.
Sponsored by manufacturers such as Mimaki, GMG and HP, the one-day conference is pitched at printers, suppliers, brand managers, regional media and buyers.
Taking place at the Sheraton Frankfurt Airport Hotel and Conference Centre, the event will cost €150 for Fespa members and €250 for non-members. However potential attendees can gain entry at 50% off the standard price by paying before 31 May.
