"We've absolutely smashed pre-registrations compared to the last 'Drupa' year and we're not far away from Hamburg's, in fact I think we'll have as many decision-makers and from a broader spread of countries," said managing director of exhibitions and events Neil Felton.
Around 35% of the pre-registrations were from Spain, with Italy, Germany, the UK and Portugal ranked second through to fifth respectively. Compared to 50% coming from Germany for last year's Hamburg show.
According to Felton, the show has also doubled its spend on visitor features, boosting content with new elements such as Print Shop Live.
"We've focused on business reasons for attending, but designed it so that they are in bite-sized chunks that don't detract from the show," he said.
