Korea-based Kisun manufactures UV-coating machines and automated photobook-binding equipment, which will be on display on Encore's stand (19/D710).

Encore managing director Mike Biggs said: "We are excited to have taken on this agency as the machines will complement our range of high-end finishing equipment."

The flagship machine in the range is the KDC 2 Digi UV-coater, which can coat a wide range of papers, including some difficult-to-handle stocks, and offers UV, primer and water-based liquid coating.

Encore will also be showing the Digibinder water-based glue book block binder, which it said was aimed at the high-volume digital print-on-demand photobook market.

According to Biggs the Digibinder can easily handle the heavier paper stocks that are used in many digitally produced photobooks and can also produce rigid album covers, simply by inserting boards between signatures.
