The RIPmate Plus is designed to accelerate productivity beyond a standalone RIP and contains software enhancements that help the remote control of the process.
Any network station with a web browser can be used to view, roam and zoom in and out on any part of the image for soft proofing.
John Marzec, ECRM director of product management, said the system can be "invaluable" as an enhancement to the workflow and quality assurance process of any print operation at "a very attractive price".
The product is also available as a software enhancement package for standalone ECRM and Harlequin RIP users.
ECRM Imaging Solutions will also exhibit the Mako 800, an 8-up platesetter that the company said offers the benefits of its flatbed violet imaging technology along with ECRM-patented enhanced imaging optics.
Jim Luttrell, director of marketing at ECRM Imaging Systems, said: "What is exciting about the Mako 800 is to be able to bring to market a violet CTP device for commercial printers who were the early adopters of CTP.
"The high-quality imaging these printers demand can now be achieved on our patented Flatbed Violet Laser Imaging Technology."
He said Massachusetts-based ECRM has always been serving the commercial markets and has been a regular participant in print shows over the years.
He said: "We want to help printers understand and dispel the myth that you cannot achieve high-fidelity imaging using violet imaging technology. All the benefits, along with superior imaging on plate, is now available using violet CTP."
The company will be showing high-quality commercially printed samples of traditional screened images at the show, along with stochastic screened output and pages that use hybrid screening.
