The digital offset manufacturer said that its DI digital offset presses offer printers the most profitable option to meet quick turnaround demands and high-quality colour printing in runs from 500 to 20,000.
Raymond Hillhouse, Presstek Europe sales and marketing director, said: "All of the digital offset products that Presstek will be introducing will allow print service providers to increase their capabilities and competitiveness in order to better serve the requirements of today's print buyers."
He added that Presstek was expanding up-market, while supporting its existing base of small- to medium-size printers.
"We are also reaching into the packaging printing market with the expansion of the DI press portfolio," Hillhouse said.
This includes the Presstek 52DI-AC press, which will make its worldwide debut at Print 09.
The press has an integrated aqueous coating capability that the company said enables speed and durability, while also having the cost-effective, fast turnaround, high-quality colour printing capabilities of the 52DI press.
Also at the show will be the Presstek 52DI-UV and Presstek's portfolio of CTP products, including the Presstek Compass Series CTP platesetters, the Presstek Aurora Pro chemistry-free plates and the Presstek Anthem Pro plates.
Print 09 is due to take place on 11-16 September, in Chicago, US.
