The Colchester company opted for the new press, supplied by Bytes Documents Solutions, after it enjoyed a 20% growth in business following an investment in its first Xerox last year.
Phil Hammond, managing director at DPI, anticipates the installation of the 1000 will help the company continue to grow its digital revenue streams.
He said: "We quickly exceeded the monthly print volumes on the Xerox 700 to such an extent that we installed two Xerox 7002s in October.
"The Xerox 1000 offers fantastic quality and we are particularly impressed with its ability to print solid colours on both sides of heavy stock such as 350gsm with no loss of speed."
DPI's new 100ppm press will work with the company's Infigo web-to-print software, which it installed last year.
