This Leeds-based printer continues to impress with its intelligent use of data and print and finishing techniques. The judges were particularly taken with a mailing that, when opened, produced a double pop-up, one-piece communication. It was a big challenge to complete the mailing within the client’s budget constraints. However, The Lettershop Group used printed reels, fed to an offline, web-fed finishing line fitted with a specialist die-cutting tool to bring the project in on time and on budget. The product was folded and glued to create the final integral one-piece mailer. Commenting on the innovative mailing, one judge said: “This was a fantastic pop-up that showed really good thought in translating the design concept to print.”
