The Redditch-based company more than lived up to its reputation for creativity in its submissions, which left the judges dazzled by the array of substrates, and print and finishing techniques employed. Particularly impressive was its Levi Flag, which was part of a pan-European, in-store window campaign. The banner flags were printed on 100% cotton canvas using a four-colour process on a Vutek 5300 press, before being hand-finished to an exacting standard. One judge said: “SP Group’s entries were all solid, innovative pieces that showed real strength in terms of meeting the client briefs and the Levi’s piece in particular was very impressive.”
